Are your staff checked and qualified?

Yes, absolutely. At Asisters, all of our team members, both self-employed and employed, are subject to the same rigorous checks and standards.

Every Asister is:

✅ DBS checked ✅ Fully accredited and referenced ✅ ID verified ✅ Required to provide up-to-date evidence of training

✅ Inteviewed in person

We handpick individuals not only for their qualifications, but also for their professionalism, reliability, and caring nature, qualities we believe are essential in delivering safe, person-centred support.

Whether you’re receiving care from an employed carer or working directly with a self-employed Asister, you can be confident that the same high standards apply.

No, we offer completely flexible arrangements — from one-off visits to regular ongoing support — so you only receive the help you need, when you need it. There are no contracts, we simply ask for 72 hours' notice to make any changes or cancellations.

For live-in support, we kindly request two weeks’ notice.

You also have the option to retain your Asister or carer if a loved one is hospitalised or requires short-term respite, ensuring continuity of care when they're ready to return home.

We can often start immediately, and we certainly do our best to arrange a schedule within 24 hours during weekdays or 48 hours over weekends and bank holidays.

Thanks to our in-house technology, we can send instant notifications to all available Asisters, allowing for a fast and efficient response.

If personal care is required, we also aim to carry out a prompt assessment, create a tailored care plan, and, where needed, set up a MARS (Medication Administration Record). All care details and tasks are then uploaded into our app, which tracks everything in real time for transparency and peace of mind.

This setup process may take a little longer, but we work quickly to ensure everything is in place with care and accuracy.

🔹 Self-Employed Asisters – prices start from £22 per hour With this option, you can arrange visits, dates, and times directly with your chosen Asister, offering flexibility and continuity with someone you trust.

🔹 Employed Carers – ideal if you’d prefer guaranteed cover and office support These carers are fully managed, trained, and regulated under CQC standards, and we take care of scheduling, oversight, and quality assurance.
